Description
Anne’s work is inspired by her travels round the world and the cities, landscapes and gardens that she has visited. She has always loved painting the Lake District and now has a studio in Cumbria, which is set in the midst of magnificent countryside. This means she has an endless source of inspiration just outside the door. She loves to work outside where she can experience the changing skies, weather and seasons and will further develop these paintings in the studio to capture the changing moods, colour and light of these dramatic landscapes.
She works in mixed media and is intrigued by the colour, patterns, shapes and repetition to be found in the natural world and aims to interpret this in her work.
She has exhibited in London, Manchester, Amsterdam and New York and her work is regularly on show throughout galleries in the North West of England.
