Description
Dan is a 26-year-old artist from the Lake District who devotes much of his time to drawing maps in the style of J.R.R. Tolkien. His love of map drawing began just over a year ago, when he chanced upon the idea of converting real world maps into Tolkien’s fictional style. Dan originally trained as a biologist and has recently completed his master’s degree at Imperial College, London. Although his academic endeavours have been temporarily placed on hold, he does one day hope to complete a PhD in the field of evolutionary sciences.
