Around half way up lake Windermere, this is a spot with wonderful views, and home to a few boats. Bowness on Windermere is a beautiful, quiet town in the Lake District. This colourful ink drawing by Jennifer Guest, perfectly captures the details of the the environment of the town, with its beautiful trees,  calming lake, and a great place for a refreshing swim.

Jennifer Guest is a full-time artist, originally from Yorkshire but now based in the beautiful Scottish Highlands. Rural landscapes are her inspiration, she aims to capture the sensations of serenity and awe for the natural world. The Lake District’s mountains and waterscapes are special favourites of hers.

Jennifer's ink style, overlaying the drawing on top of colour work creates a striking effect, similar to a lino or wood cut.

Materials

All Lake District Art Prints are made on heavyweight archival quality art paper, using giclée pigment inks. Prints are wrapped in archival packaging to ensure they arrive with you in perfect condition.

Shipping

Our standard production time for prints is 3 days before dispatch. Framed prints have a 10 day lead time prior to dispatch.

Dimensions

Prints and frames are individually sized according to the aspect ratio of the original artwork. However, all Lake District Art Prints are available in a selection of sizes - small, regular, medium and large. See individual products for their sizing options.
