A cluster of trees gracefully reflected upon the glassy surface of the lake. Each tree is dorned with a kaleidoscope of vibrant huesm exuding an air of liveliness and energy. It seems as though the trees and their vibrant colours are suspended in a moment of peaceful stillness, inviting the viewer to immerce themselves in the tranquility of the Lake District.

Marina tried to make you feel like you are standing there, in that peaceful place that is the Lake District. She wants the viewer to stop and think about how nicely people and nature go together.

Marina Ester Castaldo is an Italian designer and illustrator currently based in London, UK. Born and raised in Naples, the south of Italy, she finds herself influenced by the folklore, the hospitality of people, the warm weather, the contrasting and strong colours. She's fascinated by the nature, the daily life and all the emotions we always feel but are often afraid to show.
